Our Trip to Canada

On the 18th of June, we woke up and ate our standard breakfast again, and afterwards I went with Don to the Devon Oil Discovery Center, which had many pieces of oil equipment on display, some of it acutally working; I believe one of the oil derricks was actually functonal (there were still hard hats and a heater in the break room of the rig). There were, of course, several photo opportunities.

After we returned to the lodge I stayed in with Julie and Mandy while Don and Ruth went house searching yet again. We decided to go to our now-favorite store, Sobeys, to get some food. When we returned, we watched the movie I had brought with; DOOM. After being sufficiently spooked from that, Julie found Don’s underwear on top of the washing machine, after she had seen them earlier that day in the public bathroom… That scared us more than DOOM ever could. And with that scary thought, we eventually went to bed.
